How I packed for India

IM PACKED!!! – 1 more sleep – India here I come!! Ok, so I’m not known for travelling light… I’m a girl who still needs variety & I don’t like to feel like I’m wearing the same thing over and over. I call myself a mood dresser, sometimes I feel like wearing certain things & other times I don’t! Equally I hate handing money over for excess baggage and love avoiding those loooong bag collecting queues!! So how do I get variety without tipping the suitcase scales?? 1. I colour code my clothes – I look at everything and choose items based on the fact they will work with lots of other items. No orphans please!! 2. I like to pack mostly neutrals, then add pops of colour. This gives me lots of variety & options 3. Scarves offer me the ultimate in versatility because it adds very little to my load, yet adds dramatically to my basic travel wardrobe. They liven up my neutral travel wardrobe by providing a pop of colour, pattern, texture & of course personality. 4. Rolling, this is the killer technique when it comes to compact travelling and has revolutionised my packing. Roll every item that can be rolled as this will negate creasing. So what exactly have I packed for 10 days? Heres my list & please refer to my picture for colour inspo 3 pairs of pants (neutrals & denim) 4 tops (2 singlets / 2 t-shirts) 2 pairs of shorts (1 denim / 1 colourful) 2 cardigans for cool nights (1 light 3/4 sleeve & 1 dark longer sleeve) 2 dresses 3 scarfs 3 pairs of shoes (1 x nude heel / 1 x jelly shoe / 1 x comfy funky flat) 2 necklaces (1 short / 1 long) Then of course all my essentials that aren’t in the pic like bikinis, underwear socks ext….) AND OFF I GO – X CB
